Unhappy with my city life, it’s time to recharge my batteries. I’m currently locked down in day job, career burn-out, long hours, a failing economy and dwindling time from my family aided in the decision to embark on this journey with. We opted to travel the world on a cruise. The Rotterdam New Years Cruises allowed us to experience all the excitement and activities of the exotic ports-of-call of choice coupled with the luxury of world-class cruising. Onboard, we experienced enchanting voyages replete with fine cuisine, warm hospitality, thrilling entertainment and fun-filled recreations. We had the opportunity to take in the sights and sounds of the local cultures, cuisine and people unique to each port-of-call.

I met my boy friend in a coffee shop. We were already dating for two years when I found out he was married and has three kids. Never did I realize it since the beginning of our relationship. My heart was full of regrets, guilt, hatred and pain. I was sorry for his wife and kids. I broke their hearts without any intentions of doing it. I was probably blinded by love. I need to be alone, to be away from him. The Azamara Club Cruises from Hong Kong somehow made me forget for a while what I have been going through. I never realized traveling alone can be fun too. When I went back home, I was a totally different person. I’m stronger and a better woman now.

I’m an educator for most of my working life. But it was my travels and exploration that made my teaching style unique. When we travel anywhere, we place ourselves in a different environment with new opportunities. Travelers can enrich themselves and their lives by taking advantage of settings they have never encountered before. For the first in my life I went on a cruise. Every year my husband and I together with our two kids would spend our holidays abroad. My husband has been stressed out about work lately and the prospect of being disconnected from the world of 24 hour email and having to report to incidents in the middle of the night is sounding very appealing to him. We went on a cruise this year. The Cruises from Mobile in January served us well as a useful base for exploring numerous sites. A blissful couple of evenings were spent there. The crews were a bit too hospitable for my liking. We’re really looking forward to exploring the beautiful ports and doing some fun activities next time.

I met someone on board while I was dining at my favorite restaurant. He was a tall good looking man from Arkansas. I thought I just met the man of my dreams. Since then, we were never apart from each other. We started dating and finally we got engaged. Our love story ensues like greased lightning. It was like a fairy tale come true.
