Using Square Area Rugs Over Carpeting
February 27, 2010 5:52 am Home and FamilyIf you think that the only use for square area rugs is over wood floors, think again. You can also use them over carpeting to add a sense of color as well as style to your home. Many people have neutral wall to wall carpeting in their homes that make the floors warmer and more inviting to bare feet. However, in order to add a sense of style to the room, you can make an area rug the focal point and place it over the carpeting. You do not need a rug protector to prevent the rug from slipping when you choose to use area rugs in this way and because they are relatively inexpensive, you can change them periodically to give your room a whole new look.
