Hooray- I Fixed My Garage Door Opener Myself

The scariest thing I ever did was buy my first house.  It was older but had a lot of upgrades, such as an automatic garage door opener.  I was on a tight budget and was terrified that something would break.  Sure enough, my garage opener broke about six months later.  I had no manual so I decided to go online and do a search for, “garage door troubleshoot“.  To my surprise I found an online manual and even located the problem.  It was a simple fix and I was able to repair it.  I know I got lucky that time and it could be more complicated next time, but I was still thrilled.
