Are Gaming Laptops a Good Idea?

They need the hardware that can do a lot more than the standard consumer model in order to handle the insane amounts of graphical processing and to produce the clearest, sharpest sounds. And just when you think you’ve got the best system on the market, someone comes out with a game that requires just a little bit more power and it’s back to the computer shop for more upgrades.
So the question is: are laptops a good idea for gamers? After all, laptops are notoriously difficult to upgrade, so you’ll be buying whole new computers instead of a few new parts when you want to increase your gaming experience. The answer is: yes and no. If you plan on playing on a competitive level, you might want something that can be upgraded. But if you just want a solid, gaming experience, modern laptops will be enough.
