A much anticipated trip to the south

It didn’t take long on at all to get on the road once we got off the plane. After a very quick stop at car hire christchurch we were on our way to Queenstown to see some friends and have a really good look around the town. For about three years we have been trying to get there but for some reason or another we hadn’t quite made it, so this trip was even sweeter. It wasn’t as long a drive as we thought it would be but it was certainly far more impressive than we had expected. Driving alongside the mountain ranges was just spectacular.
